Jalondra Jones

A FEW PSEUDO-TITLES THAT APPLY:

Miss Congeniality. Blessed and Unbothered. Little Miss “I Thrifted It”.

MY CREATIVE PROCESS STARTS WITH:

I begin every project with research and a conceptual deck or mood board. In order for me to get into the groove, I need to be able to find inspiration either by assessing trends current and past, a deep dive into history or by absorbing my surroundings.

I CONSIDER EVERY PROJECT:

An opportunity to grow. Maybe the project requires me to learn a new skill, engage with new people, encounter a few setbacks, or face some challenges. Regardless of the experience, having the attitude of being open to whatever comes my way, has made me excited for every project in a way to challenge and expound on the skills I already have.

ON BECOMING A TEXAN:

The community makes the heat worthwhile. But for real it’s hot, Ya’ll.

BUCKET LIST:

Whatever my “Yolo” Pinterest board says.
