PROJECTS I FIND EXCITING:

I enjoy projects with lots of prop creation, and also location shoots. There’s something amazing about getting to use the preexisting charm of a building or seeing your props come together to create a fantasy space.

ARTISTS WHO INSPIRE ME:

Growing up my family knew a lot of different painters, actors, photographers, musicians, etc. These artists had an immense impact on the styles I still appreciate. I am also a Calder fan; love getting to see the balance in his large works.

MY CREATIVE PROCESS:

I’m a very visual person, so I’ll usually see an entire concept within my head. Being able to sketch out an idea to help others accurately see one’s vision is so important to the creative process.

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING:

Outside of work, I fill the time with a variety of projects including making ceramics, skating around the city, and reading a good book.

PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW:

I was a competitive swimmer for ten years.
