Eureka Calhoun

BORN AND RAISED:

I grew up overseas, spending much of my childhood in Japan and Europe. Being surrounded by such diverse cultures, traditions, and styles shaped my eye for fashion and deepened my appreciation for global influences. That early exposure to art, design, and cultural expression continues to inspire the way I approach style today.

ARTISTS WHO INSPIRE ME:

The artists who’ve had the most impact on me are costume designer Isis Mussenden, whose storytelling through wardrobe inspires me deeply; Law Roach, for his bold, unapologetic approach to styling and redefining red carpet culture; and my mentor Ava Kamaria, who has guided me with wisdom, creativity, and vision throughout my journey. Each of them has shaped the way I see style as both art and empowerment.

WHEN I’M NOT WORKING:

Outside of work, I immerse myself in experiences that spark creativity and keep me grounded. I love hiking for the fresh air and mental reset, exploring art shows for inspiration, traveling to discover new cultures and perspectives, and attending Broadway shows to get swept up in the storytelling and style. Each of these passions fuels my creativity and adds new layers to how I approach my work.

THREE ON MY BUCKET LIST:

I’d love to relearn how to play the violin again, take my mother on an unforgettable tour across Asia, and one day build a home in the Caribbean where I can relax, recharge, and create.
